Nicole is owner and Head Stylist of The Scissor Room. After building a strong client base early in her career, Nicole knew she wanted to own her own business. Through many years of hard work and sacrifice, Nicole opened The Scissor Room in June of 2009. Since starting up the business, she has learned to keep her passion in the forefront. It is what drives her to be a better leader. She absolutely loves being a stylist and working everyday with the team she cherishes. Nicole is from Streetsboro and she loves anything to do with hair! She has built so many great relationships over the years and has learned a lot from the people she’s met. Nicole’s goals are to run her two salons (The Scissor Room and Parlour59) successfully and teach her little girls that always showing love, hard work and dedication will help them achieve their dreams. Nicole LOVES her team at The Scissor Room as well as her exceptional clientele!

Started The Scissor Room family in 2009
Angel is one of the founding members of The Scissor Room family, starting in 2009. Originally from Stow Angel knew as a child she wanted to be a stylist. Her profession is definitely her dream. Angel is very big into keeping her education diversified and fresh. Angel considers any client her ideal client. With over 25 years of experience and training in the beauty industry, she has a very diverse set of skills. Angel takes great pride in contributing to the professional, but warm and friendly atmosphere at The Scissor Room!

Brandy is most passionate about helping her clients achieve their hair dreams, feel more confident, and to enjoy the time spent in her chair. Brandy’s favorite services to offer clients are dimensional color or different blonding techniques. Any creative color or upkeep is fun for her. Originally from Kent, but currently residing in Stow, she finds herself constantly helping her clients solve their hair challenges. Things like choosing the right product, cut, the correct color for their skin tone/eye color or amount of upkeep. Her ideal client is someone who enjoys being pampered, building a professional relationship or someone that just needs help finding something new they love! Brandy feels The Scissor Room is a great place to work or visit. The atmosphere is very positive, clean and beautiful.

Heather is one of The Scissor Room’s newest family members. Heather is originally from Akron and started at The Scissor Room in 2020. Heather loves being able to give her clients amazing results, gorgeous “after” photos and an extra boost of self confidence. She makes it a point that no matter what skin service she is providing, that her clients are comfortable, relaxed and have received great customer service. Outside of work, Heather loves spending time with family and being out of the house doing something fun.

Kaylyne has been styling hair and perfecting nails with The Scissor Room since the fall of 2015. She is originally from Cuyahoga Falls and loves to work with clients of all ages. She prides herself on her innate ability to communicate with her clients and deliver the results they desire. One of the many things she really enjoys is working with is bright and electric “fantasy colors” on her clients. Her clients really like the results and that makes Kaylyne smile. Kaylyne really loves the team atmosphere at The Scissor Room. She considers her colleagues her family and coming in to the salon everyday isn’t work…it’s what she loves to do!

Born and raised in Stow, Kendra is one of The Scissor Room’s Nail Technicians. Kendra is passionate about understanding what her clients think. She wants them to enjoy their experience and forge deeper connections. She takes great pride in her skills applying acrylic nails that will last multiple weeks. Kendra spends extra time to prep her clients’ nails to make sure no lifting happens and negate any worries of them falling off. Kendra’s ideal client is someone who is ready to have fun and pick out a design to challenge her artistic skills!

Mya is the newest addition to The Scissor Room family. Originally from Cuyahoga Falls, Mya is most passionate about her nail art because she feels it is where she expresses herself the most. Mya specializes in Gel-X Extensions. She endorses Builder Gel since it assists by keeping natural nails healthy and helps those who want to grow out their natural nails. While in with Mya, she is happy to entertain her clients who prefer a quiet, “get away” appointment or those who enjoy a friendly chat. Mya loves working at The Scissor Room because she feels the energy is “through the roof” and everyone is so enjoyable to be around!
